Airborne data capture

Airborne data capture is a common term for data capture where an advanced sensor is installed in either aircraft or helicopter. Helicopters are most often used for corridor mapping (for example, power grids, roads, railways) or smaller projects that have high demands on the level of detail and accuracy. Aircraft are usually used for projects that cover larger areas and that vary with regards to the level of detail and accuracy requirements.
