Exemption applications

In order to realize your plans, you may need to expand somewhat beyond the constraints set by the building rules for the exact area where you are going to build. Exemptions under the Planning and Building Act mean that in some cases exceptions are made to provisions of law or regulations. No one is entitled to an exemption, but we who know the regulations know a lot about what is required and how applications for exemption should be formulated. Before submitting the application to the municipality, we always consider how well the application is justified and whether there is a certain possibility that the application can be approved.

Processing of waiver applications is charged with municipal fees of varying size. One can save significant costs by adjusting the application slightly rather than submitting an application that obviously will be rejected.

Our project managers have handled many exemption applications and know the municipal and political processes. We are happy to consider your case - asking us will not cost you anything.
